Pete & Britt's Engagement Session

I had the pleasure of shooting Pete and Britt's engagement photos in the Fall. We spent the afternoon walking through Central Park and pausing at bridges and various scenic spots for photo ops. At some point when blood sugar was running low Britt pulled out mini cupcakes and Pete had a fantastic time "romantically" smearing the icing all over Britt's face.

Eventually we exited the park and took to the streets of NYC, stopping by the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim.

American Gothic parody with ice-cream because, well, why not?

My favorite shot from the day, taken by the reservoir in the park.

Sabrina's Bat Mitzvah

In April I got to watch and document Sabrina becoming a Bat Mitzvah, and take her first step into the world of Jewish adulthood. I arrived at the Synagogue a little bit early to catch Sabrina before her guests arrived.

We went outside for a minute for a breath of fresh air and to take a quick family photo.

After the ceremony all the kids got on a bus and everyone else jumped in their cars and headed to the party location, where the celebration would begin.

I brought Sabrina and her friends outside the restaurant for some fun "parent-free" time and everybody got instantly got goofy and fun.

The night drew to a close with emotional toasts, candle-lighting and endless smiles from the newly Bat Mitzvah-ed.

Mazel Tov Sabrina!
